Mitchell County Public Health Offers Free Community CPR Training Sessions

Mitchell County Public Health is inviting community members to participate in free Family & Friends CPR Training sessions this summer. These classes are designed for individuals who want to learn lifesaving CPR skills but do not need official certification. The training is open to the public and is intended for parents, grandparents, caregivers, businesses, faith groups, school professionals, students, and anyone interested in learning how to save a life during an emergency.
Participants will learn:
- Adult hands-only CPR
- Adult, child, and infant CPR with breaths
- Adult and child AED use
- Relief of airway blockage/choking emergencies
Two training opportunities are available, registration is required:
June 13
9:00–11:00 a.m.
St. Ansgar United Methodist Church

These trainings provide community members with the confidence and knowledge to respond during a cardiac or breathing emergency. Quick action by a bystander can make a significant difference in saving a life.
