WIC
WIC is a supplemental nutrition program for babies, children under the age of 5, pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and women who have had a baby in the last months. WIC helps families by providing healthy foods, nutrition education, and referrals to other health care. WIC is available in Mitchell County at the Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Osage. Family Planning
Family Planning offers quality, confidential health care. Medical services are provided by nurse practitioners trained in family planning health care.
I-Smile
I-Smile is a statewide program that connects children and pregnant women with dental, medical, and community resources for a lifetime of health and wellness. It is part of the statewide Maternal and Child health program.
1st Five
NICAO’s 1st Five Coordinator supports area health providers in the earlier detection of social-emotional and developmental delays and family risk-related factors (in children birth to 5) and coordinates referrals, interventions, and follow-up for families. Maternal Health
The Healthy Pregnancy Program includes a variety of services focused on promoting healthy children, healthy families, and healthy communities by promoting early prenatal visits and health care that will continue during pregnancy, as well as throughout childhood. Living with HIV
