We can come to your site of business and provide you with training for your agency in any of these topics. Stop the Bleed
Mitchell County Public Health has a certified instructor to train and equip individuals to control severe bleeding until first responders arrive. We partner with the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office and local police departments to provide Stop the Bleed training for our Mitchell County schools and county departments.
Mitchell County Public Health donated 136 Stop the Bleed Kits to the Mitchell County Schools to have available throughout the school as well as all of the school buses. We also donated 14 Stop the Bleed Kits to various Mitchell County Government entities such as City Halls and the Mitchell County Courthouse.
Narcan
Mitchell County Public Health has a certified instructor to teach you how to recognize the signs of opioid overdose and how to administer the opioid overdose reversal drug naloxone. Call our office at 641-832-3500 for more information or to request a training.
