Mitchell County Public Health & Home Health Recognizes National Home Health Month

November is National Home Health Month, and Mitchell County Public Health & Home Health is proud to recognize the dedicated professionals who provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Every day, our clinicians travel hundreds of miles across Mitchell County to deliver expert, compassionate care. Home health care allows individuals, including seniors, those recovering from illness or surgery, and people living with chronic conditions, to receive skilled nursing, therapy, and personal care/homemaker services where they feel most comfortable. These services help patients maintain their independence, improve recovery outcomes, and enhance overall quality of life.

Mitchell County Public Health & Home Health offers a full range of home health services, including but not limited to:
• Skilled nursing care
• Physical, occupational, and speech therapy
• Personal Care Aide
• Homemaker

During National Home Health Month, the agency encourages the community to learn more about how home health can help individuals recover safely and live independently at home.
