Mitchell County Public Health & Home Health Announces Availability of COVID-19 Vaccine

Mitchell County Public Health & Home Health is pleased to announce that the COVID-19 vaccine is now available for eligible community members. Protecting our residents remains our top priority, and vaccination is one of the most effective ways to prevent severe illness and hospitalization.

Who is Eligible:

• Adults 65 years and older

• Individuals under 64 with underlying health conditions (including, but not limited to, obesity, chronic disease, cancer, disabilities, current or former smoker, mental health conditions, or diabetes)

• If you don’t meet the eligibility requirements, you can still get the vaccine by paying out-of-pocket.

• Not sure if you’re eligible? Call our office and we’ll be happy to help.

We strongly encourage all eligible individuals to take advantage of this opportunity to safeguard their health and the health of those around them.

How to Schedule:

The COVID-19 vaccine will be available at all of our flu vaccination clinics. A full schedule of clinics can be found on our website at www.mcpublichealth.com or the graphic below. Community members may also call our office at 641-832-3500 to schedule an appointment.
